Damages & Returns

Original sales receipt must accompany returns.

We accept returns for exchange or refund up to 7 calendar days after delivery of the product. At our sole discretion after 7 calendar days, we will offer an exchange or store credit only. Items must be in "new, unaltered and unused condition". Definition of new, unaltered and unused condition is:
• without showing signs of wear or damage in any way
• within 7 calendar days of the delivery date (after 7 days no returns are allowed)
• must not be a special order or a custom order
• unless noted that it cannot be returned or has a different return policy time period noted in that item's particular item description or that item's manufacturer's specific refund/return policy.
If an item is received damaged, please file a claim with the shipping company immediately. Items that are defective and shipped from us or items that you did not order but received from us will qualify for store credit or a cash refund.
Refunds are contingent upon inspection of item(s) once we receive it.
There is a 25% restocking fee for returned items that are not being exchanged and are not damaged. Again you MUST contact us within 7 days if you intend to return ANY item. Items returned to us AFTER 7 days and WITHOUT contacting us, will NOT be refunded.
Customer is responsible for all shipping & handling costs if not the fault of LDC Home.
Customer is responsible for actual shipping costs on returned 'free shipping' items.
Returns must be insured by customer to cover possible damage.

Noir Furniture - Return Policy:

Noir is not responsible for shipping damages. Please either refuse the items damaged during shipping or file a claim with the shipping company.
Once the order has shipped, it can not be cancelled.
Due to environmental elements and relative humidity, wood will sometimes expand and shrink. Great care is taken to construct the furniture in a manner that allows the wood to move. Under drastic temperature changes, cracks may sometimes appear; however, this is a very rare occurrence. Damage Claims of this nature will be assessed on an individual basis if they are received within three months.
Knots, gouges, small cracks and nail holes are inherent characteristics of many of their wood products and do not constitute damage or defect. Metal products are created to be imperfect and antiqued, natural materials and handcrafted techniques are used. Slight variations in finish, tones, textures and colors are common.
No claims will be considered for these characteristics.
Returns are not accepted without a prior written authorization.

Worlds Away - Return Policy:

Worlds Away is not responsible for shipping damages. Please either refuse the items damaged during shipping or file a claim with the shipping company.
Once the order has shipped, it can not be cancelled.
Returns will only be accepted within 5 days of receipt. Customer is responsible for the freight cost of any return. Once the item is returned in saleable condition, a credit will be issued to the customer's account, minus original freight and a 25% restocking fee.
Returns are not accepted without a prior written authorization.

Arteriors - Return Policy:

Arteriors will accept returns on defective or damaged merchandise however, a 25% restocking fee will be applied for returned merchandise deemed not defective. Initial shipping charges are not refundable. Your product refund will be processed at the time of receipt of the return. We require that product be returned to us within 30 days of a return shipment call tag being issued. In the event that there are errors in the prices, descriptions or images of certain merchandise, we reserve the right to restrict the return of those items.

Orient Express - Return Policy:

Orient Express does not accept returns or exchanges for drop ship orders. Do not return any merchandise even if you have a valid claim until you have received a Return Authorization form from our claims department. If you return an item without a Return Authorization form your product will not be accepted and your claim may be denied. We reserve the right to restrict the return of those items.
